Here are the videos for the next Phonemes (sounds) that are taught within Phase Three -
ai, ee, igh, oa, oo/oo, ar, or, ur, ow, oi, ear, air, ure, er
These Graphemes (written letters) are what we refer to as 'vowel digraphs or trigraphs.' Digraphs consist of two letters that make one sound where as trigraphs feature three letters that make one sound. All of these digraphs and trigraphs are represented using vowel letters.
Please encourage your child to watch and learn one new sound daily, this will give them enough time to absorb each new sound whilst practising the letter formation as well as their segmenting and blending skills.
Hope you enjoy!
